great success with his business and as a sales person, he was
determined to seek other adventures and in 2000 he set off for

School of Law (J.D., 2002).
While in Indiana, Larry clerked for Former Chief Justice John Paul
Godich of the United States District Court for the Southern District
of Indiana. During the summer of 2001 Larry attended Renmin

of 2002, Larry spent the first half of his summer as a volunteer at
the Legal Aid Clinic in Indianapolis and also interned for the law
firm of Plews, Shadley, Racher and Braun. During the second
half of the summer he interned for the Lake Oswego, Oregon firm of
Buckley LeChevallier.
In 2003 Larry became licensed to practice law in both Oregon and
Texas. In fall of 2003 Larry attended the University of Washington
School of Law to earn a Masters in Taxation (LL.M. Taxation, 2004).
Larry remains licensed as a real estate broker, but is not actively
selling real estate, although he occasionally uses his license to
assist his clients with listed property purchases. Larry is the
president of the Clatsop County Bar Association (March 2007 -
present) and on the board of several local non-profit
organizations.
